حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، زَحْزَحَ اللهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ بِذَلِكَ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever fasts for one day for the sake of Allah's pleasure, Allah will keep him seventy years' distance away from Hell.
