حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَقُولُ اللهُ (٢) : اسْتَقْرَضْتُ عَبْدِي فَلَمْ يُقْرِضْنِي، وَيَشْتُمُنِي عَبْدِي، وَهُوَ لَا يَدْرِي، يَقُولُ: وَادَهْرَاهْ، وَادَهْرَاهْ، وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, "I asked My servant for a loan, but he did not give it, and My servant unknowingly speaks ill of Me and says, 'Alas, the times! Alas, the times!' whereas I am the Creator of time as well."
