حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَطَبَ رَجُلٌ امْرَأَةً - يَعْنِي مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ - فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنَّ فِي أَعْيُنِ الْأَنْصَارِ شَيْئًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man sent a marriage proposal to a woman from the Ansar. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to the man, "Look at her, for there is something (a defect) in the eyes of the Ansar."
