حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمَّارًا، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ (١) ، قَالَ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ} [البروج: ٣] ، قَالَ: " الشَّاهِدُ: يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالْمَشْهُودُ: يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، وَالْمَوْعُودُ: يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), either as a mawquf or marfu' narration, that in "washaahid wa mashhood," the "shaahid" refers to the Day of Arafah and the "mashhood" refers to the Day of Resurrection.
