حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّهُمْ أَصَابَهُمْ جُوعٌ، قَالَ: وَنَحْنُ سَبْعَةٌ، قَالَ: " فَأَعْطَانِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ، لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ تَمْرَةٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were afflicted by hunger; we were seven people. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) gave me seven dates, one date for each person.
