Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَاسِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ (١) عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَتَرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، سَتَرَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا الْآخِرَةِ (٢) ، وَمَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا، نَفَّسَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةَ، وَاللهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever relieves a Muslim of one of the troubles of this world, Allah will relieve him of one of the troubles of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. And as long as a servant is engaged in helping his brother, Allah remains engaged in helping that servant.
