Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when I set out to present myself before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), I kept reciting this verse along the way: "Even though this night is harsh and long, it is beloved. Because it has delivered me from the abode of disbelief." One of my slaves had run away from me on the way. When I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), I pledged allegiance at his blessed hand. While I was still sitting there, my slave arrived. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Abu Hurairah! Is this your slave?" I replied, "He is free in the way of Allah." Thus, I set him free.
