حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ وُلِدَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ، وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ، مِثْلَ الْأَنْعَامِ، تُنْتَجُ صِحَاحًا، فَيُبَتِّكُونَ (٢) آذَانَهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every child is born upon pure nature; later, his parents make him a Jew, Christian, or Magian. Its example is like an animal giving birth to a sound and healthy offspring, then you pierce its ears.
