حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وعَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to always observe i'tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan (and this continued) until Allah Almighty called him to Himself.
