حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " نَعَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّجَاشِيَّ لِأَصْحَابِهِ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ، وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ، وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) informed the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the death of Najashi, although he himself was in Madinah Munawwarah. Accordingly, the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) formed rows behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led his funeral prayer and said four takbirs in it.
