Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Salama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The child belongs to the (owner of the) bed, and for the adulterer there are stones."
