حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ارْكَبْهَا " قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ. قَالَ: " ارْكَبْهَا " قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يُسَايِرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَفِي عُنُقِهَا نَعْلٌ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once passed by a man who was driving a camel. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Ride on it." He replied, "It is a sacrificial animal." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Ride on it." Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says that he saw the man walking along with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and there was a shoe hanging from the camel's neck.
