حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي إِيَاسُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَبِّحُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، وَعَائِشَةُ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

lyas bin ‘Amir narrated:

I heard `Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to offer nafl prayers at night when `A`ishah (رضي الله عنها) was lying between him and the qiblah.
