Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ: قَدْ هَلَكَ النَّاسُ، فَهُوَ أَهْلَكُهُمْ، يَقُولُ (١) : إِنَّهُ هُوَ هَالِكٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When you hear a man saying that the people are ruined, then know that he is the most ruined among them.
