حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ لِي عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ حَقًّا، وَإِنَّ لِقُرَيْشٍ عَلَيْكُمْ حَقًّا، مَا حَكَمُوا فَعَدَلُوا، وَاْئتُمِنُوا فَأَدَّوْا، وَاسْتُرْحِمُوا فَرَحِمُوا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have a right over the Quraysh and the Quraysh have a right over you. When they judge, let them act with justice; when they are entrusted, let them fulfill the trust; and when mercy is begged from them, let them show mercy.
