حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ حَسَّانَ قَالَ فِي حَلْقَةٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنْشُدُكَ اللهَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، هَلْ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَجِبْ عَنِّي، أَيَّدَكَ اللهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ "؟ فَقَالَ: اللهُمَّ نَعَمْ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that once Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said to a group of people among whom was Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Abu Hurairah, I ask you by Allah, did you hear the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'Respond on my behalf, may Allah support you with the Holy Spirit'?" Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "Yes, by Allah."
