Original Arabic
قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: أَخْبَرَنِي ثَابِتٌ، وَقَتَادَةُ: أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَذْكُرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " بَنُو النَّجَّارِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
This narration is also reported from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), however, in it there is mention of Banu Najjar and then Banu Abd al-Ashhal.
