حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ، وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ (١) ، تَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever among you waits for the prayer, he is considered to be in prayer as long as he waits, and the angels continue to pray for him as long as he remains seated at his place of prayer, saying: O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him.
