حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَقَالَ: " إِيمَانٌ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: " ثُمَّ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ " قِيلَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: " ثُمَّ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), "Which deed is the most virtuous?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "To have faith in Allah and His Messenger." The questioner asked, "Then which deed is most virtuous?" He replied, "Jihad in the way of Allah." The questioner asked, "After that?" He replied, "A Hajj that is accepted (by Allah)."
