Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، وَيَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ، فَلَا يُؤْذِينَا بِهَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا هَذَا " قَالَ يَعْقُوبُ: " يَعْنِي الثُّومَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever eats from this plant (garlic) should not harm us in our mosque.
