حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا، شَكَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسْوَةَ قَلْبِهِ،، ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " إِنْ أَرَدْتَ أَنْ يَلِينَ (١) قَلْبُكَ، فَأَطْعِمِ الْمِسْكِينَ، وَامْسَحْ رَأْسَ الْيَتِيمِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man complained to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: If you want to soften your heart, then feed the poor and gently place your hand with affection on the head of the orphan.
