حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ، لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ، مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُومْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: When any one of you offers prayer and then remains seated on his prayer mat, the angels continuously say: O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him, as long as he does not lose his ablution or leave from there.
