Translation

English translation

The previous hadith from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) is also narrated through this second chain of transmission, except that in this version, the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Then who is considered poor?" He replied, "The one who does not possess financial means himself and does not go around asking people persistently."
