Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the iqamah for prayer was being pronounced, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) also arrived and stood at his place. After a short while, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) remembered that he had not performed ghusl (ritual bath). So, he signaled to the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) with his hand to stay where they were, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) left. When he returned, drops of water were dripping from his head. Then he (ﷺ) led us in prayer.
