حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَنَازَةٍ، فَكُنْتُ إِذَا مَشَيْتُ سَبَقَنِي، فَأُهَرْوِلُ، فَإِذَا هَرْوَلْتُ سَبَقْتُهُ، فَالْتَفَتُّ، ، إِلَى رَجُلٍ إِلَى جَنْبِي، فَقُلْتُ: تُطْوَى لَهُ الْأَرْضُ، وَخَلِيلِ (١) إِبْرَاهِيمَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I went with the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to a funeral. When I was walking at my own pace, the Prophet (ﷺ) would go ahead of me. Then when I started running, I would get ahead. Suddenly, my eyes fell on a man at my side, so I thought in my heart that, by the friend Abraham, the earth is folded up for the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
