Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (ﷺ), the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
