حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً يَتَعَاقَبُونَ، مَلَائِكَةَ اللَّيْلِ، وَمَلَائِكَةَ النَّهَارِ، فَيَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا فِيكُمْ، فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ - وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ - فَيَقُولُ: كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: تَرَكْنَاهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ، وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: There are some angels of Allah who come to the earth in turns; some of these angels are for the night and some for the day. These angels gather at the times of Fajr prayer and Asr prayer. Then those angels who have stayed among you ascend to the heavens. Although Allah knows everything, He asks them: In what condition did you leave My servants? They say: When we left them, they were praying, and when we came to them, they were praying as well.
