حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ: " لَوْ كَانَ أُحُدٌ عِنْدِي ذَهَبًا، لَسَرَّنِي أَنْ أُنْفِقَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَأَنْ لَا يَأْتِيَ عَلَيْهِ ثَالِثَةٌ (١) وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ وَلَا دِرْهَمٌ، إِلَّا شَيْءٌ أُرْصِدُهُ فِي دَيْنٍ يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If the mountain of Uhud were to be turned into gold for me, I would be pleased that I spend it in the way of Allah, and not even three days should pass over me with a single dinar or dirham remaining with me, except for that which I keep aside for the repayment of a debt that is due upon me.
