Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ - أَوْ قَالَ: لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ (١) - عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا، وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: A woman should not be married together with her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt.
