حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ يَعْنِي وَهْبًا، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: " لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي إِلَّا عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ، وَكُنْتُ لَا أَكْتُبُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that no one knows more of the sayings of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) than me except Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), because he used to write them down and I did not write.
