حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَشْيَاءَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قِصَارٍ: " لَا يَشْرَبِ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I narrate brief ahadith before you from the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), for example, that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) forbade drinking water by putting the mouth directly on the mouth of a water-skin.
