Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to go to a town which will consume all other towns. People call it Yathrib, whereas its correct name is Madinah, and Madinah removes people's sins just as a blacksmith's furnace removes the impurities of iron.
