حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ الدَّوْسِيِّ، قَالَ: فَأَهْدَى لَهُ نَاقَةً، يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ، قَالَ: " لَا أَتَّهِبُ إِلَّا مِنْ قُرَشِيٍّ، أَوْ دَوْسِيٍّ، أَوْ ثَقَفِيٍّ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin presented a she-camel as a gift to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "In the future, I will accept a gift only from a Quraishi, or a Dosi, or a Thaqafi."
