حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ قَبْرِي وَثَنًا، لَعَنَ اللهُ قَوْمًا اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "O Allah, do not make my grave an idol (that people begin to worship)." The curse of Allah is upon those people who make the graves of their prophets places of prostration.
