قُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الزِّنَادِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ: أَنْصِتْ، فَقَدْ لَغَيْتَ " (١)، ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ: " هِيَ لُغَةُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ "،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the Imam is delivering the Friday sermon and you say to your companion, "Be quiet," then you have engaged in idle talk.
