حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلٍ،، ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ صَالِحَةً، قَرَّبْتُمُوهَا إِلَى الْخَيْرِ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ، شَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ " (١) .، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: قَالَ أَبِي: " وَوَافَقَ سُفْيَانَ (٢) مَعْمَرٌ وَابْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ "،،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Hasten with the funeral procession, for if the deceased was righteous, you are taking him towards good, and if the deceased was sinful, then it is an evil which you are removing from your shoulders.
