حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَنِي هُذَيْلٍ رَمَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى، فَأَلْقَتْ جَنِينًا، " فَقَضَى فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغُرَّةٍ: عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that there was a dispute between two women of Banu Huzail. One of them struck the other, who was pregnant, with a stone, and the child in her womb was born dead. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the verdict of one "ghurra" (i.e., a male or female slave) in this matter.
