حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا، وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ، يَذَرُ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ بِجَرَّايَ - قَالَ يَزِيدُ: مِنْ أَجْلِي - الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ "، " وَلَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ اللهِ، أَطْيَبُ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The reward of a good deed is ten times. Allah Almighty says: Fasting is for Me and I Myself will give its reward. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
