Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ: صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَالْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved friend (ﷺ) advised me regarding three things (which I will not leave until my death): (1) to fast three days every month, (2) to perform Witr prayer before sleeping, (3) to take a bath on Friday.
