حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي مِنَ (١) اللَّيْلِ، فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any one of you gets up for the Tahajjud prayer, he should begin it with two light rak'ahs.
