. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Abu Zur’ah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I entered the house of Marwan bin Hakam with Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). There, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some pictures and said: I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Allah Almighty says, “Who could be a greater wrongdoer than the one who tries to create like Me? Such people should try to create a particle, or a grain, or a barley grain.” After this, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked for water for ablution and performed ablution, and while washing his arms, he went beyond the elbows, and when he washed his feet, he went beyond the ankles up to the shins. I asked, “What is this?” He replied: “This is the limit of adornment.”
