حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ: " فَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا شَرِبَ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ، فَخَرَجَتْ حَيَّةٌ "، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade drinking water directly from the mouth of a water-skin. The narrator of the hadith, Ayyub, says that he was informed that a man drank water by putting his mouth to the mouth of a water-skin, and a snake came out of it.
