Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ طُعْمٍ، وَذِكْرِ اللهِ " قَالَ مَرَّةً: " أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The days of Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah." In another chain of narration, only eating and drinking are mentioned.
