حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَدْخُلُ الْحَائِطَ؟ قَالَ: " يَأْكُلُ غَيْرَ مُتَّخِذٍ خُبْنَةً " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! If a person enters a garden and steals fruit by breaking off clusters, what is the ruling?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whatever fruit he has eaten and has not kept hidden, nothing will be obligatory upon him for that."
