حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَابَا (١) ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُبَاهِي مَلَائِكَتَهُ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ بِأَهْلِ عَرَفَةَ، فَيَقُولُ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى عِبَادِي أَتَوْنِي شُعْثًا غُبْرًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah Almighty boasts before His angels on the evening of Arafah about the people of Arafah and says: 'Look at My servants who have come to Me disheveled and covered in dust.'"
