حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ " قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:: " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي حُلَّةٍ، إِذْ أَمَرَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ الْأَرْضَ فَأَخَذَتْهُ، فَهُوَ (١) يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِيهَا، أَوْ (٢) يَتَجَرْجَرُ فِيهَا، إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A man was walking arrogantly in his cloak when Allah commanded the earth, so it seized him, and now he will keep sinking in it until the Day of Resurrection."
