حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ الْأَكْبَرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ الْمُسَدِّدَ لَيُدْرِكُ دَرَجَةَ الصَّوَّامِ الْقَوَّامِ بِآيَاتِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، لِكَرَمِ ضَرِيبَتِهِ، وَحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saying: A righteous Muslim, due to his good character and his nobility and kindness, reaches the rank of those who fast during the day and stand in prayer at night.
