Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ أَرْوَاحَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَتَلْتَقِيَانِ عَلَى مَسِيرَةِ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، وَمَا رَأَى وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The souls of the believers meet at a distance of one day's journey, even though none of them has yet seen the other."
