Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُطَّلِبِ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السَّهْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his wealth is a martyr."
