Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمَقْتُولُ دُونَ مَالِهِ شَهِيدٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his wealth is a martyr."
